Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Dsetopia 星境 (the “Service”). Dsetopia is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. The Service
Dsetopia generates original, syllabus-aligned HKDSE Mathematics (Compulsory Part) practice papers: Paper 1, structured questions with marking schemes, and Paper 2, multiple choice with a timed online mode, instant marking and analytics. Both papers can be exported as PDFs. Every question is machine-generated and independently verified. The Service also includes free learning materials, such as 十二篇範文. The Service is a study aid and does not guarantee any examination result.
2. Not affiliated with the HKEAA
Dsetopia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA). The Service contains no past-paper material; all content is original. Syllabus names are used only to describe what the practice targets, and estimated level bands are rough approximations, not official results.
3. Accounts
You sign in with Google, so we never hold a password for you — keep your Google account secure, because anyone who reaches it reaches yours. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to create an account, and their permission again before you pay for a plan.
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed in Hong Kong dollars through our payment processor, Stripe. The Monthly plan is HK$98 and renews automatically each month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time under “Manage billing” on your account page, which opens the Stripe billing portal; cancelling stops the next renewal and your access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund the current period on cancellation, except in the cases the Refund Policy sets out. The Season Pass is a one-off payment that does not renew: HK$398, or HK$318 at the founding price for a checkout opened by the end of 31 October 2026 (Hong Kong time). It gives access until the end of 12 April 2027 (Hong Kong time), the DSE Maths exam day, and is on sale until the end of 12 December 2026 (Hong Kong time); while it is active, Monthly cannot be bought alongside it. A Monthly subscriber may upgrade to the Season Pass while it is on sale: the price is reduced by the paid, unused days of the current Monthly period, and the subscription ends when the pass is paid for. Prices and plan limits are shown on the Pricing page and may change for future purchases. You authorise us to charge your selected payment method for the plan you choose; if you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to the payment.
5. Acceptable use
Do not resell, redistribute, scrape or bulk-export generated content; do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service; and do not use it to infringe any law or third-party right. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its software and its generated content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use generated papers for your own study. You keep ownership of the account information you provide.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that generated content is error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Marking, analytics and level estimates are provided for practice only.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms or the Service; material changes will be posted here with a new date. You may stop using the Service at any time, and we may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you use the Service as a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the place where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Questions? Contact us at support@dsetopia.com.
